1974

Times Change Women's Employment Service opens with funding from Canada Employment and Immigration, Outreach Program.

1975

Times Change incorporates as a non-profit charitable organization.

1983

The Times Change Access Centre officially opens, funded initially through a grant from the Atkinson Foundation and support from Great Northern Apparel Inc., The Bronfman Foundation, The F.W. Morrow Foundation, and corporate donations.

1986

Times Change undertakes a major research study of the impact of technological change on entry-level clerical occupations in Metro Toronto, funded through Labour Canada's TIRF fund.

1987

Times Change becomes a member of the United Way of Greater Toronto, receiving funding to operate and staff the Access Centre and provide Educational Counselling.

1992

Times Change initiates the Scientific and Technical Advisory Group to link women employed in scientific and technical fields with immigrant and visible minority women seeking entry into such fields.

1993

Times Change receives a grant from the Ontario Women's Directorate to produce a Career Planning Workbook for Women with an accompanying Leader's Guide.

1994

Core funding from the Ontario Women's Directorate is established and The Career Planning Workbook for Women and Leader's Guide are officially launched at the National Consultation on Career Counselling in Ottawa.

1995

With additional funding from the United Way, Times Change hires a staff person to assist clients with updating their computer skills.

1997

A partnership is formed between Times Change, ACTEW and George Brown College to develop the Office Workers Career Centre.

1999

Times Change celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a Gala Event. The City of Toronto Archives accepts Times Change records into their permanent collection.

2000

A Career Planning Workbook for Women - 2000 Version and A Leader's Guide to Career Planning for Women - 2000 Version is funded by the Ontario Women's Directorate, launched in April 2000 at Ontario's 2nd Annual Opportunities Conference in Toronto.

A part time position for an Intake/Outreach Coordinator is created with funding from HRDC and the Ontario Women's Directorate.

2002

The Career Planning Workbook is updated to reflect 2001 Census data.

A part time position for a Computer Support Technician is created with funding from the United Way. 

2003

Times Change 30th anniversary celebration

Friends and Supporters Celebrated
30th Anniversary at the Distillery

Funding from The Trillium Foundation helps Times Change to renovate and grow, adding a new group workshop room and additional office space.

2004

Times Change celebrates its 30th anniversary.
