Times Change offers a wide variety of group workshops, resources and information sessions to help women reach their career and employment goals. In a comfortable, supportive, accessible environment that welcomes diversity and respects individual needs, women have access to quality resources and counselling, free of charge, for as long as needed.

Working from our Career Planning Workbook, this 8-session program is designed for women who are unclear about their career direction or thinking about a change. With a unique approach to exploring work-related skills, interests and values, participants have an opportunity to answer the question: "What type of work do I really want?"

Developed for women who know what kind of work they're looking for and have the skills necessary for that specific field of work. This workshop meets on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:15 am to 12:30 pm all within one week.

Job Matching & Placement

Our Job Developers connect Times Change clients to employment opportunities with small to medium size businesses. Clients must be working with an Employment Counsellor to be referred to this service. Register for the Job Search Workshop to access this service or

Resume Clinic

We can help you ensure your job search documents and self-marketing tools are up to date and enticing to employers. Get a quick review and edit of your resume or cover letter before you submit an application to an employer. Clients accessing this service must have the following:
  • An already completed resume or cover letter
  • A hard copy of your documents (you may use the printer in  our Resource Centre) 
  • A specific job posting, or a sample posting reflecting the type of job you are looking for

Sage 50 Certification Free Online Training

Partnering with Sage Canada, Times Change offers Sage 50 online training with certification, a value of $340, at no cost to unemployed or underemployed women who are looking for a job that requires accounting and bookkeeping skill. Call 416.927.1900 to book an in-person initial screening.

Resource Centre

Our organized and comprehensive Resource Centre is the perfect place to do some career related research or work on your job search. Access books, newspapers, periodicals and videos; a photocopier, fax machine, telephones, and use the Internet.  Also, drop by to have a look at our Job Board with current postings.
