Lois Marsh is in her 4th career. She has been a professional singer, a secretary/receptionist and a marketing assistant with a software company. Next, she was operations & call centre manager with a consulting firm, and operations manager with a warehousing and direct mail company.

Seeking less frantic work hours and shelter from middle-management layoffs, she joined BMO Nesbitt Burns as an executive assistant and business analyst. She then attended George Brown College at night to earn a diploma in Technical Communication. Lois now manages a small team of business analysts and technical writers at BMO Financial Group.

Karen Bertrand RN, is currently serving her first term as Vice-President,
Region 5, on the Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) Board of Directors. Bertrand represents thousands of registered nurses and allied health professionals working in the southwestern region of Ontario.

A graduate of St. Clair College in Windsor, Bertrand has worked as a registered nurse in the long-term care sector for 33 years. She has been active in the union since 1989 and joined the ONA Board of Directors in January 2009. As the Board member holding the education portfolio, Bertrand believes that providing nurses with education opportunities will inspire future ONA leaders. She endeavors to keep members engaged by making education accessible to everyone.

Lori Lennox is a life skills coach, facilitator, speaker, project coordinator and jewellery designer. She was downsized from her job with Bell Canada in 2008 after 20 years of dedicated service. She spent a year on the turbulent roller coaster of unemployment and career confusion, but she is now a totally new and revised version of herself.

In addition to her full time facilitator job, she works part-time at The Mount Pleasant Cemetery for The Simple Alternative Funeral Services reception. Lori provides tours and information about the brand new Visitation Centre to families, assists them with set up and works as an attendant at the viewings and funerals.

Lori was recently certified as a life skills coach after completing training through the YWCA. She has always had a commitment to helping women who are in transition.

Rachel Walters loves to help, make a difference and give back to her community. While raising her children, Rachel volunteered at various organizations over the course of 30 years, including the heart society, the cancer society, citizens concerned with crimes against children and Hadassah Wizo. She also did several fundraising events.

Rachel returned to school to study and consolidate her knowledge of fundraising, event management and volunteer coordinating. In 2000, she completed her Volunteer Management Certificate from Conestoga College and, in 2001, she obtained her certificate in Fundraising.

Rachel has held various fundraising, event management, volunteer coordinating and managerial positions. Her current passion is working as the coordinator of volunteer services at Seven Oaks Long Term Care Homes and Services in Scarborough for the City of Toronto, where she manages over 350 volunteers.

Audrey Campbell is the President of the Jamaican Canadian Association and has been a member for the past 6 years. She received the Presidents' Award from the JCA Women's Committee for her volunteer services after two years of volunteering. She also volunteers with Spelling Bee Canada.

Audrey has 15 years' experience in corporate sales & marketing and is working as a Senior Manager of a Restoration company in Brampton. Audrey started her career as a Sales Director with a major Marketing & Promotional Company under then CEO Jerry Phillips prior to his political career.

Audrey has also owned and operated Island Kitchen Inc for 4 years. She had applied for and received a grant from the government for a start up food company, marketing and selling pre-marinated jerk chicken to major supermarkets and restaurants in Ontario.
