The Bloor-Dufferin Redevelopment (BDR) site was brought to the open market by the Toronto Land Corporation (TLC) on behalf of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) on August 8, 2016. The redevelopment plans for the 7.3 acre site include a community hub. A hub is a place in the community where different services and supports are located. It is a place where community members can get together, learn about each other, engage in activities together and get help that they need.
The Bloor Dufferin Hub Visioning Group has been developed to: a) Ensure that community groups are meaningfully engaged in the planning for a Bloor-Dufferin community hub; and, b) Develop a vision and governance and service framework for a community hub at the Bloor-Dufferin site.
We want to hear from you about what your experiences as a resident of Toronto and of Bloor Dufferin, and what kinds of things you want to see happening in our community and City to make them the best they can be, including community needs and service gaps. As someone who lives in Bloor-Dufferin, your thoughts and ideas about a community hub here are critically important.
Your participation in this very short survey is voluntary and anonymous. The information that you share will be combined with other information that we collect from other community members. The survey can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HubVisioning. It will be open until March 20, 2017.
