Our introductory computer workshops will help you develop your skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and more. Dive into internet essentials for job searches, master email basic set-up and usage, and discover the art of sending resumes online with our introductory workshops.
Our live instructor-led workshops have transformed into an innovative online format, extending our influence nationwide to support women in developing their computer literacy. Participate in our monthly workshops covering Microsoft Office and internet-focused job search strategies. This provides the chance to both gain new knowledge and enhance existing skills.
Let’s Get Digital is a one-month online instructor-led, program for women interested in building their digital proficiency to prepare for today’s workforce.
The program is offered twice per week for two hours each day and will focus on developing the essential digital skills needed to work in a professional environment including:
Participants that successfully complete the program will receive a Times Change certificate of completion and will be connected to employment supports offered at Times Change.
Partnering with Sage Canada, Times Change offers Sage 50 online training with certification, a value of $439, at no cost to unemployed or underemployed women who are looking for a job that requires accounting and bookkeeping skills.
Participants must have high computer literacy and prior knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping. Participants in the course are allotted a three-month period from the date of registration to finish both the training and testing.

The Times Change computer lab is equipped with eight client computers to help you hone your computer skills or support your job search. Every computer in our lab has internet access, Microsoft Office, and an array of self-directed tutorials.
Our computer lab is open on weekdays and clients can either drop-in or book computer time.
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Fridays: 10:00 am – 2:30 pm
Our goal is to empower you with the digital skills and knowledge required for success in today’s competitive job market. Our Digital Training Centre warmly welcomes all women, offering both drop-in access and the option to reserve up to 3 hours per day, with a maximum of 10 hours each week. While the centre is primarily used for independent work, we are pleased to provide one-on-one appointments for clients who are new to computers or need assistance getting started.
