Land Acknowledgement Times Change Women’s Employment Service acknowledges that we are located on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. This territory is covered by the Toronto Purchase (Treaty 13), and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon treaty between the Anishinaabe, Mississaugas and Haudenosaunee peoples. The Dish With One Spoon treaty bound the nations to share and protect the land, and has been symbolically extended to other Indigenous nations and peoples, Europeans and all newcomers.
