Searching for a job can be challenging, and it’s completely normal to experience moments of uncertainty and low motivation. That’s why we’ve introduced a new workshop on job search strategies to tackle your concerns. The job search strategies workshop covers topics such as:

  • Understanding the job search cycle
  • Finding the hidden job market
  • Finding opportunities
  • Exploring internet resources

This workshop is available to women registered for our employment services. Clients can sign up for this workshop by connecting with our intake team.

In this comprehensive online workshop, we dive into the world of resumes, covering essential information such as resume formats and tips on targeting your resume to a specific job posting. 

Workshop topics include:

  • The purpose of resumes
  • Three resume formats and how to decide which format to use
  • Must-have and optional resume sections 
  • Accomplishment statements
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Targeting your resume

Our online resume workshops are interactive and held via Zoom, incorporating presentations and Q&A to follow.

Preparing for job interviews can be daunting, but our Interview Skills Workshop equips you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to ace them!

This workshop covers a variety of topics, including:

Am I Eligible for Your Employment Services?

Our employment services are open to women who fit the following criteria:

  • Employed or unemployed
  • Live in Toronto
  • Are legally entitled to work in Canada, including: Canadian citizens, Permanent residents, Convention refugees or protected persons.
  • Women with a valid open work permit
  • Are not currently enrolled in full-time education or another Employment Ontario program
